Together with the Baltic Chamber of Foreign Trade and the Southern Thuringia Chamber of Skilled Crafts, we will develop the sector expert councils into an effective governance instrument for economic and social partner participation in vocational education and training. This will promote the quality and labor market relevance of vocational education and training in the long term. To this end, the representatives of employers, employees and state institutions in the SECs will be strengthened in assuming their respective roles as representatives of different interests and at the same time as bearers of a jointly perceived responsibility. The co-operation takes place in the metal and wood processing and agricultural sectors.
